Pears with chocolate under a nut crumble

I am sure that from time to time each of us has a morning in which from the moment you open your eyes, or even before that, you feel like eating something sweet. We can push this idea away thinking about slim figure, a healthy lifestyle or being reasonable. We can also embrace it and find the perfect solution...

The recipe for vegan pears with chocolate is an embraced desire.

It is perfect for breakfast, dessert, and all other cravings. Delicious when cold on the second day!

Preparation time: 45 min from the start to the first bite!

6 soft pears / 800 g

6 cubes of dark chocolate

1 teaspoon of flour (any kind)

2/3 cup of hazelnuts

1/2 cup of oatmeal

1 tablespoon of cane sugar

1/2 teaspoon of ground, brewed coffee

1/4 teaspoon of salt

3 - 4 tablespoons of oil (any kind)

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Peel the pears, cut into large pieces, put into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with flour. Stir, add the halved chocolate cubes.
  • Pour nuts, oatmeal, cane sugar, coffee and salt into a blender cup with a small "S" blade. Blend briefly, only until everything is lightly chopped, for about 10 - 15 seconds. Add the oil and continue to blend until everything is combined.
  • Put the crumble on the pears, so that it covers all the fruits and put into the oven. Bake for 15 minutes, then lightly smooth the crumble and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve hot without any additives, or in a really naughty version, topped with coconut milk.

Tips:

  • Remember not to chop the chocolate too finely. It is enough to cut each cube in half.
  • Do not blend the crumble for too long, let it crunch pleasantly.
  • Before removing the dessert, you can also check with a fork whether the pears are really soft. Some varieties may need an additional 5 minutes in the oven.
